The NAR (National Association of Realtors) has recently informed us that new incentives offered to banks lending in high cost areas including tax credits up to $8000.
Realtors are currently being told to advise our clients to wait for forclosure sales. Forclosure financing is moredifficult and expensive to find these days than a primary mortgage. (Realtor Magazine, April 09). Lenders such as FHA, Freddie Mac, and Fannie Mae are being highly scrutinized under the new stimulus package--and higher end lending is encouraged by the Obama administration.
